Deuteronomy // Chapter One

This year Kingdom Culture will be embarking on a corporate fast for 40 days, from the 22nd of July 2026 till the 30th of August 2026. It is a call to consecration, passage, and rest.

Based on Genesis 7:17 and Genesis 8:4, we are anchoring this fast on the truth that God brings His remnant through the waters into rest.

That on the far side of forty days of hard water, the ark comes to rest, the old order is put to death, and a new, covenant-marked world begins.

Noah himself carries the promise in his name: “this one shall give us rest” (Genesis 5:29).

In a time when the old is not yet dead and the new has not yet been born, we will take 40 days to enter the ark, pass through the flood, and come to rest; dying to the old order personally, communally, and prophetically, so that we emerge into fullness of a new altar, and a new mandate.

For as Scripture declares, “there remains a rest for the people of God” (Hebrews 4:9), and we are marching in to enter it.

We will be sharing our thoughts, lessons and reflections as we journey on this fast. Feel free to join in, whether it’s through fasting, studying scripture, or simply sharing what the Lord has revealed to you! Everyone is welcome😊
